Due to the fact that there are numerous people commenting on the political issues of this day, the need to dedicate more time to my family, job and other projects, I have decided to put this blog into hibernation.

I will still be blogging about faith and Anglicanism over at the Ohio Anglican and River Thames Beach Party.

Great Protester Advice

I would like anyone who reads this and plans to protest at a Obamacare Town Hall meeting, to take some advice from Newbie Anglican.

Remember, no matter how upset this attempt to turn our great nation into a socially engineered fascist state makes you, remain calm......calm.....calm. hollering, screaming, threatening, salivating while you yell at someone, shoutdowns with bullhorns, these are all tactics of the ultra-hardcore left, and it alienates them from the sympathies of most people, the same people that need to be won over with reason to write their senators and congressman to vote against this Obamination.

I support your right and will to protest, as long as it does more good for the cause than harm, for the MSms would love nothing more than to cast you in an unfavorable light and make you seem ans crazed as a Code Pinker or a Berkley student, the Revolution will be televised.......and heavily edited.

The AP has a story out dealing with some unsolved murders that may be closed after a suspect had been killed in a shoot-out with police.

It turns out that the suspect was a former Hippie, Draft Dodger and member of a heretical cult (The Children of God); But to read the byline, you would think that he was "Larry Lutheran" or "Roger Roman" or "Bob Baptist". It is just another attempt from the anti-Christian liberal media to de-legitimize the Christian Faith and it's believers.

One thing that I have learned over 17 years in law enforcement is, there are two sides to every story.

Call this a hunch but I think the reason this "prominent black scholar" was arrested had more to do with the size of his mouth or his blood alcohol concentration, than the color of his skin. Let's wait for the police report for the "rest of the story".

Also, In the dealings I have had with people who are educated and refined Obama-ites is this; most of them see cops as knuckle-dragging, overpaid, uneducated Neanderthals that deserve their contempt.

Lastly, for the President of the United States (Lord have mercy upon us), comments on this minor incident during a press conference, without all of the facts, shows how petty he truly is. Not to mention the question was probably a plant by him or his staff (Chicago Sun-Times = ObamaPravda)

The Cop that made the arrest is an expert and academy instructor on how to AVOID racial profiling and was picked for that job by a black Chief. Also, there was a black Cop at the scene at the time of the arrest. I guess it was a case of a big mouth in the presence of a public gathering that got this elitist snob arrested (read the police report).

The esteemed learned gentleman must have thought that since he is buddies with the Prez he is Teflon and can treat these cops with the true measure of contempt he feels for them with no consequences, and thanks to some spineless person up the chain of command the charges where dropped thereby enabling this jackass.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Kentucky pastor is inviting his flock to bring guns to church to celebrate the Fourth of July and the Second Amendment.

New Bethel Church is welcoming "responsible handgun owners" to wear their firearms inside the church June 27, a Saturday. An ad says there will be a handgun raffle, patriotic music and information on gun safety.

"We're just going to celebrate the upcoming theme of the birth of our nation," said pastor Ken Pagano. "And we're not ashamed to say that there was a strong belief in God and firearms — without that this country wouldn't be here."

The guns must be unloaded and private security will check visitors at the door, Pagano said.

He said recent church shootings, including the killing Sunday of a late-term abortion provider in Kansas, which he condemned, highlight the need to promote safe gun ownership. The New Bethel Church event was planned months before Dr. George Tiller was shot to death in a Wichita church.

Kentucky allows residents to openly carry guns in public with some restrictions. Gun owners carrying concealed weapons must have state-issued permits and can't take them to schools, jails or bars, among other exceptions.

Pagano's Protestant church, which attracts up to 150 people to Sunday services, is a member of the Assemblies of God. The former Marine and handgun instructor said he expected some backlash, but has heard only a "little bit" of criticism of the gun event

The Chicago Junta Going After Our Guns

In the early 19th century the Richmond Junto was a political machine that monopolized national politics and was later replaced by the Albany Regency as the power brokers in the US. Now it is the early 21st century and a new political force has gained prominence in national politics and it is spreading it's tendrils, trying to ensnare every aspect of our society into it's grasp.

Our Republic is falling under the control of a socialist junta emanating from the environs of Cook County, IL. A machine in every sense of the word, but unlike the localized power broker who originally built it, the machine has been re-tooled with an ideology to increase it's power and will it try to either enslave or destroy those who get in it's way. The machine that Daley built, now under the operation of Machinist Emmanuel, is out to take control of every aspect of our society.

This machine is not perfect, it does have vulnerabilities, it is made of parts and cogs that have major character flaws. The trick is to expose the flaws and break the machine before it has an opportunity to assimilate us all through executive and legislative fiat.

In case you haven't heard, recently Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton decided to emphasize financial and economic issues with China and at the same time decided to brush under the rug all of the human rights abuses that China engages in.

Naturally, those of us who think human rights abuses in China are extremely important, are upset. However, not everyone is upset about that - case in point - Alex Spillius from the UK Telegraph writes,

HATS off to Hillary. On the last day of her maiden trip in Asia, she was frank about the how hard she would push the Chinese on human rights.

"Our pressing on those issues can't interfere with the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crisis," she said, adding that Washington "knew what the Chinese were going to say" on the issue.

She went on to emphasise the economic partnership between the US and China, who "are truly going to rise or fall together" and urged the Chinese to continue buying US treasury bonds.

For me, this raises an issue - or shall I say, actually highlights an issue. What we are looking at is the value of humanity who are being persecuted, tortured in many cases, and abused - versus - the global economy and the importance of money. I find this interesting, and I'm not the only one.

Help Keep a Cop Killer in Prison

On July 3, 1980, while off duty, Ptlm. Desmond Sherry, of the Cleveland Police Dept., being the dedicated officer he was on duty and off, saw suspicious activity that he felt the need to investigate. During this investigation, he was robbed and killed by James Porter.

Desmond Sherry left behind his wife Connie, a 6 1/2 year old son Michael, and a 3 1/2 year old daughter Theresa.

Porter was sentenced to a minimum of 27 years to life in prison. He is presently incarcerated at the Lake Erie Correctional Institution.

Due to the State of Ohio's definition of life imprisonment, Porter is eligible for parole in March of 2009.
