New Bethel Church is welcoming "responsible handgun owners" to wear their firearms inside the church June 27, a Saturday. An ad says there will be a handgun raffle, patriotic music and information on gun safety.

"We're just going to celebrate the upcoming theme of the birth of our nation," said pastor Ken Pagano. "And we're not ashamed to say that there was a strong belief in God and firearms — without that this country wouldn't be here."

The guns must be unloaded and private security will check visitors at the door, Pagano said.

He said recent church shootings, including the killing Sunday of a late-term abortion provider in Kansas, which he condemned, highlight the need to promote safe gun ownership. The New Bethel Church event was planned months before Dr. George Tiller was shot to death in a Wichita church.

Kentucky allows residents to openly carry guns in public with some restrictions. Gun owners carrying concealed weapons must have state-issued permits and can't take them to schools, jails or bars, among other exceptions.

Pagano's Protestant church, which attracts up to 150 people to Sunday services, is a member of the Assemblies of God. The former Marine and handgun instructor said he expected some backlash, but has heard only a "little bit" of criticism of the gun event

On July 3, 1980, while off duty, Ptlm. Desmond Sherry, of the Cleveland Police Dept., being the dedicated officer he was on duty and off, saw suspicious activity that he felt the need to investigate. During this investigation, he was robbed and killed by James Porter.

Desmond Sherry left behind his wife Connie, a 6 1/2 year old son Michael, and a 3 1/2 year old daughter Theresa.

Porter was sentenced to a minimum of 27 years to life in prison. He is presently incarcerated at the Lake Erie Correctional Institution.

Due to the State of Ohio's definition of life imprisonment, Porter is eligible for parole in March of 2009.

What is of this trend to recast the greatest figures in history, those persons that have built our civilization, and to mold them to conform to and/or justify a fringe agenda?

My former fellow travelers have tried to hijack Lincoln as one of their own. Though never a member of any one denomination, Lincoln is far from being the atheist icon that historical revisionists are trying make him. Lincoln read and quoted from the bible extensively, he invoked Providence and called upon the Almighty for our salvation and he attended a Presbyterian Church on a regular basis.

In his younger days, Lincoln was witness to the partisanship of various denominations and seemed to have been put off by this. Lincoln may have been a Free Christian, believing in the common tenants in Christian faith, while avoiding the particularities of any single denomination or he may have been an unorthodox Christian that maintained his own view of Christianity.

The revisionists are using quotes, generally taken out-of-context, to brace their conclusion that he was an atheist or agnostic, without taking into consideration the volumes of his writings and speeches that showed his belief in God and an in-depth understanding of Judeo-Christian tradition and beliefs.

No person will ever know exactly what Lincoln believed, but to shove him into the atheist camp, when the preponderance of evidence leads to the opposite conclusion is intellectually dishonest.

Thanksgiving(s) have been, traditionally religious holidays to English speaking peoples, but as with all of our holidays it is being usurped by the new faiths of secularism and consumerism, by robbing thanksgiving of it's religious identity and casting it's founder in an non-religious light, we further undermine our history, tradition and values.

In the concession the losing Rep. Dingell also mentions "change". Maybe it is true, that the leftard wing of the Democrat party sees the Obama election as a mandate and will lob themselves headlong into "change" and thereby alienating the average voter completely.

If we are really lucky we can look forward to Seppuku for "change".

Waxman Wins Energy and Commerce Committee Chairmanship From Dingell

WASHINGTON — Rep. Henry Waxman — a liberal ally of Speaker Nancy Pelosi — has wrested the chairmanship of the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee from veteran Rep. John Dingell when the new Congress convenes in January.

Waxman, a California liberal and avid environmentalist and booster of health care programs, toppled Dingell Thursday on a vote of 137-122 in the Democratic Party caucus, capping a bitter fight within party ranks.

Dingell has been the top Democrat on the panel for 28 years and is an old-school supporter of the auto industry. Waxman has complained that the committee has been too slow to address environmental issues like global warming.

"The argument we made was that we needed a change for the committee to have the leadership that will work with this administration and members in both the House and the Senate in order to get important issues passed in health care, environmental protection, in energy policy," Waxman said after the vote.

"The next two years are critical," said Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., who spoke on Waxman's behalf in the closed-door caucus. "It's not personal. It's about the American people demanding that we embrace change and work with the president on critical issues of climate change and energy and health care."

Waxman, 69, is an accomplished legislator. He had chaired the Energy and Commerce health and environment subcommittee for 16 years and won a series of piecemeal expansions of the Medicaid health care program for the poor that added many children to the program. He's also taken on the tobacco companies.

The Energy and Commerce panel is one of the most important House committees, with sweeping jurisdiction over energy, the environment, consumer protection, telecommunications and health care programs such as Medicaid and the popular State Children's Health Insurance Program.

Waxman has been the top Democrat on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee for the last 12 years. Since Waxman became chairman of that panel two years ago, it has taken the Bush administration to task over global warming and allegations that it muzzled government scientists. It also has investigated the White House's political operation, the use of steroids in sports and, most recently, abuses behind the financial collapse.

Dingell, 82, has been the committee's top Democrat for 28 years and is an important ally of automakers and electric utilities. He's considered one of the House's premier legislators, with a lengthy track record on health, consumer issues and the environment, among other things.

Dingell's defenders said he had done nothing to deserve being dumped, pointing to the panel's busy workload over the last two years, including successfully enacting an energy bill that raised automobile fuel economy standards to 35 miles per gallon by 2010.

"I think it was highly inappropriate," said Rep. Rick Boucher, D-Va. "There was no obvious reason for it other than the desire for another person to chair the committee.

"Seniority is important," Waxman told reporters. "But it should not grant the priority rights to hold a chairmanship for three decades."

Driving Waxman's bid was the issue of global warming, a pet cause of President-elect Barack Obama. Waxman is expected to more aggressively attack this problem and is expected to move legislation with tougher emissions standards than Dingell would have.

Environmentalists say Dingell has acted too slowly on global warming, despite releasing a bill last month. The measure was a poke in the eye to Waxman and Pelosi, D-Calif., since it would prevent states like California from setting tougher auto emissions standards than the federal government.

"Waxman's victory is a breath of fresh air — of clean air. It was a stunning defeat for the corporate lobbyists on K Street," said Frank O'Donnell, president of Clean Air Watch. "It shows that a majority of the House Democrats are ready to work with the incoming Obama administration on effective global warming legislation."

In a statement congratulating Waxman, Dingell acknowledged that it is a "year of change." He renewed his commitment "to protecting and creating jobs, to providing health care for all Americans, to working to getting our state and nation's economy back on track."

Pelosi is a home state ally of Waxman and has tangled with Dingell in the past, but she has not publicly taken sides in the battle and did not pressure members privately to back Waxman. But her support of Waxman was well known and played a role in the strong tally.

(UPI) – Forty-three California lawmakers have filed a brief urging the state Supreme Court to void a proposition that strips same-sex couples of the right to marry.

All of the members of the California Senate and Assembly who signed on to the brief are Democrats. The signatories include Assembly Speaker Karen Bass and Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata, as well as Perata's incoming successor, Darrell Steinberg, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The friend of the court brief was filed less than one week after California voters approved Proposition 8, which defines marriage in the state as between a man and a woman.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (RINO), who has in the past said he does not favor same-sex marriage, told cable news Sunday opponents of Proposition 8 should keep fighting it.

The legal brief filed with the state Supreme Court Monday argues that California's citizens rely on the Legislature and the courts "to safeguard against unlawful discrimination by temporary, and often short-lived, majorities."

"Our state's few deviations from this duty have proven, with the perspective of historical distance, to be the most abhorrent chapters in our state's history," the brief said.

Frank Schubert, the manager of the campaign in favor of Proposition 8, said the legal action was "a Hail Mary, no question about it."

Now is a Time for Change

I have taken the last few days to sit back and absorb what has transpired since Tuesday evening, working through my disappointment and angst, trying to piece together in my mind what is next.

This election will come down to football metaphors as how to describe the strategies and the outcome and in my typical fashion I will use mixed analogies to help find a direction for the future.

First – The Democrats had a charismatic quarterback and the veteran back-up. We had the Veteran quarterback and the charismatic back-up (think about how this usually plays-out in quarterback controversies.) Plus domestic stability was more of a factor than some are willing to give credit to, Obama married, McCain divorced and remarried.

Second – When our team tried to make-up yards with the long ball, they stuck to their ground game (getting out the vote with canvassers); in a battle of turn-out they will have an advantage (i.e. Labor Unions, Community Organizers, actors and musicians appealing to the “younger” voters, etc).

Third – They had the advantage of an air game (airtime that is, via the media) that left our defense stymied for coverage.

Fourth – Their coaching staff was way better and better prepared, our side needs a coaching change top to bottom.

Last – Unlike the NFL, US politics really doesn’t have financial parity, it is more like MLB and that means the team with the deeper pockets will usually win.

Now how does our side counter this and to be an effective opposition party? I know what a lot of people are saying, “The Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats and we need a third party to counteract this”. Well, there are already more than two parties and they are filled mostly of people from the fringe or the extremes of the political spectrum and independent candidates have little or no success in national contests.

The GOP is still the primary vehicle of the Conservative and Patriotic message, but it needs a tune-up and a fresh coat of paint.

First – The GOP is the American political party that pioneered inclusiveness and it is this image that must be restored, we have let the opposition and their media allies portray the party as a bunch of stuffy old rich white guys and not the party of the average self-reliant, middle-class man or woman of any ethnicity. A lesson that we can take away from this last election is that Sara Palin and Joe the Plumber, resonated with Americans and should be the touchstones for modern Republicanism and that we are truly a populist party.

Second – Tear down the “Big Tent” and make the RINOs extinct. Those who call themselves Republican and think their fiscal conservatism makes them so, yet are social liberal must go; they are nothing more than Democrats who can balance a budget. Americans want stability from and in their elected officials, a solid marriage to the same spouse is the greatest asset that an American politician can have. The last group of candidates in the primaries was dominated by serial polygamists and that is not what we want, we can go to our own neighborhoods and family gatherings to see that, we need a stable family setting. Bristol Palin’s pregnancy has shown that even when a child has found herself in a situation that is difficult, a stable family will work together for a moral and honorable solution.

Third – FIGHT. We do not have the dominance of the media that the Democrats have. If we want to make points with Americans who are likely to vote and who have common sense, than we must fight tooth-and-nail to make our points, take what we are doing and the information on legislation to the people. The average voter does not watch C-span, and if they do watch it they will see conservative legislators making their points on the floor or in committees about legislation, being countered by the left and then that is it. If the point does somehow resonate with the people, then the liberals put their attack dogs in the media on it and there is a propaganda campaign spinning the point into something it is not. Conservatives must use the assets at hand to convey their message to the public; AM radio and center-right blogs could become our counter-battery to the liberal mainstream media. Conservative politicians can’t wait for even the new media to come to them; they must get out in front of things. Example, GSE oversight, not much press coverage there, if our side would have gone to the radio talk-shows and sent press releases or talking points to the top 100 center-right bloggers it could have found exposure, instead it was a c-span non-event and we have the debacle that is FannieMae and FreddieMac.

Fourth – Take and Hold the High Ground. A corrupt Republican is just as bad or worse than a corrupt Democrat. I am not naïve; I know that corruption is a byproduct of politics. But conservatives are perceived to be more moral and as servants of the people, we must maintain this view. Corruption is intolerable, moral depravity is intolerable, conceit and arrogance are intolerable, the party must do a better job of policing our own, for if the opposition get’s wind of it they gain an advantage. I don’t care if Rep. Smith is a pillar of his Church and a decorated veteran, if he is taking payola from Fred’s construction company; he has become a liability to the party and the movement. If a false accusation of corruption is brought against a member of the party, it is the duty of the party and the membership to defend the accused, resigning to avoid a protracted investigation and or prosecution is like making a public plea of Nolo Contendere and will be spun by the opposition. As in the last point we must fight and fight hard to keep from being vilified and the cleaner the members of the party, the easier the fight will be.

As an aside, if the party under the leadership of Mike Duncan and Sen. McCain would have used points four and five effectively they could have kept the image of being nice guys and trying to run a clean campaign and at the same time hammering Sen. Obama’s campaign on the issues. Instead they came across as impotent and wimpy, playing catch-up, this image does not instill confidence in voters.

The RNC must become a political machine as it once was to achieve these goals. Now people think of political machines and it take on a negative connotation, this does not have to be, and we need to be able to have a concerted effort to break the control of Democrats in key voting areas. We need to spend more money on educating minorities in the benefits of conservatism and the history of the Republican Party in the advancement of the rights of minorities. We need to funnel more money and resources into cultivating minority Republican talent to run for smaller offices in urban areas. We need to keep our grassroots movements and "The Base" energized, not just during election cycles, but year round.

To help grow and develop party unity, the candidates must work together after one has been selected as the nominee instead of the others packing-up and going home. The nominee should involve the other former candidates from the party in the nominees campaign and if that nominee should win the election, than the other candidates should be invited to become part of the cabinet or serve in other capacities of government This formula works, yet it seems to have been discarded by modern political thinkers, relegated to the dustbin of history, we must relearn our history to be prepared for our future.

It seems this is becoming more of a manifesto than a blog post, so I will bring things to a close, but I want you to remember one thing; if you do not like the outcome of this election and the direction that our nation is heading, than you must become part of the solution. Become a voice of conservatism in the GOP, help any like minded candidate you can to get elected, YOU are the foundation; rebuild our party and our nation from the ground up.

Meg Waters, part of the Yes on 8 campaign team, told City News Service, "gay and lesbian couples have exactly the same protections under the law with civil unions."

"Marriage has been defined as a man and woman since time began," Waters said. "The people of California have voted twice, so I think the best thing to do is for everybody involved to figure out a way to move forward."

Waters said she understands "how gays and lesbians may feel concerned about this."

"If they stop and look at the situation, they have the exact same legal protections and rights under the law today they had yesterday," Waters said.

"You can't change the definition of something that existed forever because you don't like it."

1) I had a long day at work and I am too tired to vote.

*** You think you are tired now, wait until you have to work harder for the wealth distribution. 3 hours of work a day for you and your family, 5 hours for the slackers in an entitlement program. If you want anything else maybe you can work overtime, that is if your company doesn't get taxed out of existence.

2) John McCain is not a true conservative, I will protest and vote for ------- --------.

3) Oh, my vote won't matter, I will just stay home.

*** Multiply that sentiment even by a couple hundred and kiss your Guns, Values, Taxes good-bye.

In a fashion that we are seeing with BHO, Jr., his cousin let his lackeys do all of the dirty work and is now leaving them left to dry.

NAIROBI, Kenya — A government-sponsored commission in Kenya has accused a number of top-level officials of inciting and funding ethnic violence in the country that left thousands dead and hundreds of thousands displaced following disputed elections late last year.

The report, which was embargoed by a separate government commission, was leaked to FOXNews.com. It makes allegations against 219 persons, including many government ministers.

Their names are included in the "Schedule of Alleged Perpetrators," a 54-page appendix to the report of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, or KNCHR, on violence related to the country’s December 2007 elections.

Most of the accused are supporters of the Orange Democratic Movement, or ODM, whose leader, Raila Odinga, nonetheless supported the establishment of a tribunal to try those politicians responsible for inciting the post-election violence. Odinga, who is not accused, belongs to the Luo tribe.

In the run-up to the elections, the ODM forged a multi-tribal alliance against the Kikuyu, who have been regarded as economically and politically powerful since the 1960s. In last December’s elections, the Kikuyu mainly supported the incumbent president, Mwai Kibaki, whose Party of National Unity was thought by many Kenyans and outside observers to have rigged the polls.

Among those named in the KNCHR report is William Ruto, the ODM agriculture minister, who allegedly encouraged a crowd to "uproot the weeds" and expel Kikuyu from the fertile Rift Valley. Also named is Najib Balala, who allegedly paid 500 shillings (about $8) each to ODM-supporting youths who attacked Kikuyu-owned businesses in the Muslim coastal cities of Mombasa and Kilifi.

The others include Henry and Sally Kosgey, both ODM officials, who reportedly attended meetings in the hillsides of Luo land where ethnic violence was planned, and Uhuru Kenyatta, the Amherst-educated son of Kenya’s founding president, Jomo Kenyatta, a Kikuyu, who allegedly planned and financed reprisals against ODM members.

The KNCHR report recommends establishing a tribunal before which the accused would be tried. If a tribunal is not established, it recommends referring the cases to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, to which Kenya is a signatory. Many ministers belonging to ODM, especially those implicated in the commission’s report, have objected to the implementation of a tribunal.

"They did something wrong to the country, and they should stand trial," said Eunice, a Kikuyu living in the mostly Luo city of Kisumu. She declined to give her last name for fear of repercussions because of her ethnicity.

The ethnic strife took one of Africa’s most-developed countries by surprise in January and February of this year, as roving gangs armed with machetes and clubs fought riot police and set fire to churches, homes and businesses.

Maybe the title of this post falls in the realm of overstatement, but there may be a bit of truth to it where the left wing fringe is concerned.

There has been a disturbing trend that I have noticed in the presidential campaign for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. (D-IL) and the factions that aligned themselves have adopted the same talking points that are well, pointless.

One of these talking points is so off-base that it really should have never seen the light-of-day.

At first, I thought to dismiss such non-sense, but now it seems to be a rallying cry for Sen. Obama's supporters as evidenced by posts like this in the Daily Kos and if you do a search on the above mentioned phrase, you will hear and see the reactionary attacks on Gov. Palin and the indignant defense of Community Organizers of both Sen. Obama and the "profession" of community organizers.

Those on the defensive want to show the world that community organizers in general and Sen. Obama in particular, are saintly, righteous people, doing good works for others and compare them to John Hancock, Gandhi, Cesar Chavez and in the most deplorable instance comparing Mr. Obama to our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, I should not find this surprising because the left and the mythology of secular relevance had recast Jesus from the Word of GOD made flesh, to a really nice guy who liked to help people, to a Roman Era Che Guevara (who himself is a product of sanitized left-wing propaganda).

If you try hard enough, you could cast nearly any historical figure as a community organizer, for examples: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, the Kim's, Saddam, Mussolini, Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun and even Satan himself. But this is the style of the left and why it is so attractive to Hollywood, they cast people into roles and try to write the narrative as to make those roles good or bad, hero or villain as in casting Sara Palin as the (evil) Governor, like Pontious Pilate. The left equates one to one so if Pontious Pilate was a governor, than all governors are bad, so let us look at some governors and you tell me if they are all bad? Bill Clinton, FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Mario Cuomo, Jesse Ventura, etc.

So taking the left's logic of casting and equality and applying it to Sen. Obama we get this little gem of reasoning. Sen. Obama was a community organizer, a good speaker and a presence in a crowd as was Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is the Messiah, therefore Obama is Messiah. Well, reason would dictate that this equation is rudimentary at best and blasphemous at least, and he says nothing and by his silence the myth grows and he makes himself a god in the pantheon of politics and never refutes this mantle of diety placed upon him. But this is the narrative of Obama that is being portrayed to the public and Sen. Obama cares not how it appears as long as it gets him votes and if it manages to draw criticism from a large enough number of people he will distance himself from the narrative and lay it on "overzealous" or "enthusiastic" campaigners or supporters.

Make no mistake, Mr. Obama will deny and redirect any criticism of himself or his campaign and has a vast army of Kamikaze campaigners that will take the fall for him if a underhanded campaign tactic hits a flat note with the public, he is greatly insulated and compartmentalized, but make no mistake, he is in control of the attack poodles. So in his vanity he has turned a cult of personality into a movement of Ego, a triumph of his will, the creation of brand Obama that will leave all of us to pay the price.

For Mr. Obama is also a product of the modern church and liberal theology that allows one to make himself equal to GOD and a partner in a relationship with GOD (so remember the equation above) and for the rest of us mortals let us remember;

"I am The Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me." (Exodus 20:2-3 KJV)

I had set my alarm to wake extra early today, as I have for the five years prior. At sunrise, "Old Glory" went to the top of the flag pole, for a brief moment, then was lowered to half-mast, the whole time all if the memories of that day came rushing back, as it does for most Americans.

11 September 2001 - I had worked the 3pm-11pm shift the night before and had stayed-up til 3am just messing around on the computer, reading, watching TV (I was still single at the time). At about 9:00am my late father called me and said "turn on the TV, something is wrong, I think we are under attack", I got the tv on just in time to watch United Airlines Flight 175 slam in to the south tower of the World Trade Center.

In a matter of seconds I felt three emotions, shock - that this was happening, sadness - for those who had just perished before my eyes and rage - because I knew that Islamic terrorist did it. My Dad and I agreed that this must have been a follow-up to the 1993 bombing of the WTC and other recent attacks (Khobar Towers, African Embassies, USS Cole...etc.). Next, I called my older brother (who owns a steel processing shop with our oldest nephew) and told him what was going on, then my Mom called me from work and asked If I knew what was going on.

At about 9:45am we heard the first reports of the Pentagon being hit, this made things even worse since I had a cousin from each side of the family that worked there. I was parked in front of the tv with a phone in each ear (landline and cell) and always trying to keep one line clear in case work tried calling me, 9:59am the south tower of the WTC collapses before my eyes. About 10:20am the first reports of flight 93 is down hit the airwaves and a few minutes later I heard the sounds of fighter aircraft over my house and looked out the window to see an F-16.

Then the phone rang again, it was Dispatch, the Chief was ordering everyone in, ASAP. A few minutes later I heard the sounds of fighter aircraft overhead again and they announced that all civilian aircraft are ordered to land at the nearest airport and then the north tower of the WTC fell and the thought of the number of potential casualties would be huge. Shower, dressed and out the door, in the car w/ news radio on, light traffic, 23 minute drive took only 15, the parking lot was filling-up with cars and as we got out of our cars none said a word and we just looked at each other.

In the locker room we began to talk and speculate and pass on things we had heard. Next we went to the Squad Room and waited for the briefing, the briefing was conducted by the Ops Captain and he was flanked by the Chief and the Mayor and the Admin Captain was in the Dispatch area monitoring things. The community I work in has quite a few Palestinians in it and the Mayor and the Chief wanted people posted at the utilities and schools, the SRO (School Resource Officer) had already reported some minor scuffles between Arab and non-Arab students as a result of the Arab students celebrating at the news of the attacks (go figure) and a Mosque in a nearby city had been attacked by an irate man that drove his Ford Mustang into it at a high rate of speed.

We were also on the flight path for Cleveland Hopkins Airport and the prompt for the call in was when our agency was called for bomb techs to respond if available and we heard about Delta Flight 1989 that had landed at Hopkins cleared by SWAT teams and the passengers detained. Then we got the call from the school board that the students were going to be dismissed early and we knew that it was going to be a problem and it was, we knew that the Arab kids were going to pay the piper for their little celebration and they did, we only grabbed a few kids as most scattered at the sight of so many units responding. Most of these kids were transported home and then the weirdest thing happen, the Arab population seemed to vanish, come to find out that most of their elders had told them to get inside and stay inside.

The rest of the tour was pretty uneventful accept for the paranoid callers and the drunks wandering the streets looking for a fight with the now vanished Arabs, most business had closed early and traffic was orderly and light. We spent most of our time watching the tv and hearing of the days events and shocked by the loss of so many brave brothers and sisters in the uniformed public service at the World Trade Center and we were fired-up but also we are held to a high standard and would not let this affect our professionalism.

My folks called me latter and told me that my cousins had checked-in and were in a different part of the Pentagon when it was hit and my oldest brother who was a frequent business traveler and made many trips to Boston in a year was home and ok.

That night when I left for home, I remember how quiet everything was and how much we take the sounds of aircraft overhead for granted and how this day had changed my life and the life of everyone else in this country forever.

In a guest column that ran in Friday's Yale Daily News — which first reported her claims in Thursday's edition — senior art major Aliza Shvarts maintained that she had conducted artificial inseminations and carried out what she characterized as self-induced miscarriage procedures, though she never actually knew whether she was pregnant.

"For the past year, I performed repeated self-induced miscarriages," Shvarts wrote in Friday's column. "Using a needleless syringe, I would inject the sperm near my cervix within 30 minutes of its collection, so as to insure the possibility of fertilization.

"On the 28th day of my cycle, I would ingest an abortifacient, after which I would experience cramps and heavy bleeding. ... Because the miscarriages coincide with the expected date of menstruation (the 28th day of my cycle), it remains ambiguous whether the there (sic) was ever a fertilized ovum or not.

Yale University officials issued a strongly worded statement Thursday night explaining that a student's shocking claim that she had artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" and then took drugs to induce miscarriages for her senior art project was "creative fiction."

The student, Aliza Shvarts, told three senior Yale University officials, including two deans, that she did not do the things she claimed in her art project, according to the statement.

"The entire project is an art piece, a creative fiction designed to draw attention to the ambiguity surrounding form and function of a woman’s body," said Helaine S. Klasky, associate dean and vice president for public affairs in a statement sent to FOXNews.com. "Ms. Shvarts is engaged in performance art. Her art project includes visual representations, a press release and other narrative materials."

"She is an artist and has the right to express herself through performance art," Klasky wrote.

The Yale Daily News broke the story earlier in the day. Before the university had announced that Shvarts didn't actually perform the acts, news of the project sparked widespread disgust and outrage.

This would be protected speech in the US.

Former French movie star Brigitte Bardot went on trial Tuesday in Paris on charges of "inciting racial hatred" by using a Muslim slur.

Prosecutors asked the court to give the former sex symbol a two-month suspended prison sentence and fine her $23,760 for saying Muslims were "destroying our country and imposing its acts," according to Reuters.

"I am a little tired of prosecuting Mrs. Bardot," Prosecutor Anne de Fontette told the court.

This is the fifth such trial for the blonde, best known for her films of the 1950s and '60s. She has been fined four times for inciting racial hatred.

"I am fed up with being under the thumb of this population which is destroying us, destroying our country and imposing its acts," Bardot said, according to Reuters.

Anti-racist groups had complained about comments the star had made about the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha, which requires the slaughtering of a sheep or other animal. Bardot is a prominent animal rights activist.

Bardot's previous actions include the writing a book that attacked gays, immigrants and the unemployed.

Bardot did not appear in court, as she told officials she couldn't physically do so. The verdict is expected in several weeks.

If Ms. Bardot was bashing the US, Western Civilization or Christianity, than it would be ok, but since she is talking about the "Unspeakables", it is a crime in The EU and Canada.

Ms. Bardot should be considering asylum in the US.

Geert Wilder's movie, Fitna, exposes the fact that the acts of terrorism done in the name of Islam, have a basis in the Koran. The film is receiving some press due to the protests of nations in the Muslim world that object to a "misleading" portrayal of Islam, Mohammed and Muslims.

Of course the mantra of "Islam is a religion of love and peace" is being recited again and we are being told that Mohammedans are regular Joes that have the same system of values as all of us here in the west.

A report posted on Islam Watch, a site run by Muslims who oppose intolerant teachings and hatred for unbelievers, exposes a prominent Islamic cleric and lawyer who support extreme punishment for non-Muslims — including killing and rape.

A question-and-answer session with Imam Abdul Makin in an East London mosque asks why Allah would tell Muslims to kill and rape innocent non-Muslims, including their wives and daughters, according to Islam Watch.

"Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet," the Imam says, according to the report. "If you don't believe me, here is the legal authority, the top Muslim lawyer of Britain."

The lawyer, Anjem Choudary, backs up the Imam's position, saying that all Muslims are innocent.

In our country, the Tibetan question is one of the few things that we can all agree upon, regardless of our position on the political map.

As Americans, we should encourage the right of the Tibetan people to freedom and independence and should encourage the Red Chinese government to relinquish it's occupation of Tibet. Although military intervention is unlikely and should be avoided, we must do what we can to show our support for the Tibetans.

Avoid buying products made in the Peoples Republic of China, not only is it possibly harmful to your health due to lead content, it also fuels the Chinese economy and thus allows for the deployment of Chinese troops in Tibet. Show your support wherever possible and keep reminding the world of the people at the ceiling of the world who long to be free.

Cleveland Officer Slain

A 36-year-old Cleveland police officer died early this morning after being shot in the abdomen while chasing four men Friday evening in the city's southeast side.

Derek Owens, who joined the force in September 1998, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center by a squad car after the shooting at East 102nd Street and Parkview just after 6 p.m.

He died at 12:13 a.m. in surgery, hospital spokeswoman Susan Christopher said.

"The City of Cleveland is mourning the loss of officer Owens, who gave his life protecting the citizens of Cleveland. My prayers are with his family," Mayor Frank Jackson said in a statement.

Police Chief Michael McGrath said, "It is a sad day for the Cleveland Police and all of Greater Cleveland. The death of Officer Owens is senseless and tragic. He was a true hero who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving his community. My prayers go out to his family."

Cuyahoga County Coroner spokesman Powell Caeser said Owen's body was taken to the coroner's office at 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

His body was escorted by a contingent of fellow police officers and a brief ceremony was held that ended with an American flag draped over his body.

A massive manhunt ended just after 10 p.m. Friday when police arrested a 19-year-old man suspected of shooting Owens once. He was one of four suspects police arrested during a house-by-house search in a four-block area of Parkview Avenue and nearby streets.

The three other suspects were arrested soon after the shooting.

The fourth suspect was arrested in the 9500 block of Parkview. Officers and a SWAT team surrounded the house and held five people on the porch. Police had not released information on the suspects' names.

Steve Loomis, president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association, who was at the hospital during the evening, called Owens a devoted, outstanding officer. He was married with two children.

His badge was No. 746.

During the search, Cleveland's police helicopter, the SWAT team and police dogs from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office and Shaker Heights joined the search.

A university professor allegedly caught in a Saudi-style honey trap has been sentenced to 180 lashes and eight months in jail — for having coffee with a girl.

The man, a prominent and well-respected Saudi teacher of psychology at Umm al-Qra University in the holy city of Mecca, was framed by the religious police after he angered some of their members at a training course, his lawyer said.

The academic has not been named by the local media, which have given his case wide coverage, but one senior Saudi journalist told The Times he was Dr. Abu Ruzaiz, a married man in his late 50s with children.

“He is highly respected and above-board. Nobody believes the religious police’s version of what happened. The whole of Jeddah (the main city near Mecca) is in uproar about this. Everyone believes he is innocent and was set up,” the journalist said.

The Tennessee Republican Party has toned down a fiery press release that included a controversial photo of Barack Obama and blasted the candidate on his stance on Israel. The release was changed after a rebuke from the Republican National Committee.

The earlier version of the press release referred to Obama by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, and included the now widely seen 2006 photo of Obama in African tribal garb.

The overt reference to Obama’s middle name also became an issue on Tuesday when firebrand Ohio radio commentator Bill Cunningham was speaking at a McCain rally, at one point blasting media coverage of the campaign: “Stop taking sides and begin covering Barack Hussein Obama.” He also blasted the Clinton campaign.

Cunningham called Obama a “hack, Chicago-style” politician and said the Illinois senator would “saddle up next to Hezbollah,” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il if elected president.

McCain, speaking to reporters after the Tuesday event, apologized for any “disparaging” remarks Cunningham might have made.

""Disparaging" remarks? they are using the guys middle name. Why has the RNC become so touchy about using a mans middle name? No-one gets upset when someone says John Fitzgerald Kennedy, William Jefferson Clinton or George Walker Bush (well, maybe George Soros, Sean Penn, Michael Moore, et al.) Barack Obama’s campaign has been told nicely, but in no uncertain terms: Sam & Dave’s classic soul hit "Hold On! I’m Coming" is not to be played anymore as a campaign theme song.

Sam Moore, one of the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the 1980s (before it became a warped endeavor), has written to Obama’s managers asking them to stop the music.

Moore says in his letter to the Obama campaign that since "Hold On!" has been used at rallies, often with the audience changing the words to "Hold on, Obama’s coming!" he’s been peppered with questions from reporters and fans such as: "Why do I want you to be president? Have we met yet? Am I honored that my song was selected to be so important to Obama for President Campaign?"

He continues: "I have had no choice but to set the record straight and I have begun explaining that the song was being performed at your rallies without my permission or my endorsement of you as my choice as a candidate for president and that I was writing this to you asking you to not continue including my material at your events.

But he adds:

"I have not agreed to endorse you for the highest office in our land. I reserve my right to determine who I will support when and if I choose to do so. My vote is a very private matter between myself and the ballot box. My endorsement and support of a candidate, because I do carry some celebrity, makes it quite a different matter changing a private act to a public statement, something I wouldn’t do without considerable thought."

Dr Rowan Williams has held confidential talks with senior American bishops and theologians who oppose the pro-gay policies of their liberal leaders.

A handful of hardline American dioceses are already defecting from the Episcopal Church, the American branch of Anglicanism, and transferring their loyalties to a conservative archbishop in South America.

Dr Williams is desperate to minimise further damage in the run up to the once-a-decade Lambeth Conference this summer which could be boycotted by more than a fifth of the world's bishops.

His recent comments backing aspects of sharia law have heightened tensions by further alienating Africans who are struggling with militant Islam in their dioceses.

According to insiders, Dr Williams has given his blessing to the plans to create an enclave for up to 20 conservative American bishops that would insulate them from their liberal colleagues.

The scheme would allow them to remain technically within the Episcopal Church but under the care of like-minded archbishops from abroad.

The Primate of the West Indies, Archbishop Drexel Gomez, a moderate conservative, has agreed to participate, and other primates could be recruited.

However, the initiative is likely to infuriate liberal leaders of the Episcopal Church, who will see it as an attempt to undermine their authority and interfere in their affairs.

In the wake of an attempt by Palestinians to burn down Joseph's Tomb - Judaism's third holiest site - Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction issued a statement denying it will help restore the shrine, referring to both the shrine and the biblical patriarch as "Muslim."

"Pay no attention to the rumors that we will work with Israel to restore the burial site of the holy Muslim Joseph," said the statement, issued from Nablus, the biblical city of Shechem. "We are going to guard this holy Muslim site."

Joseph's Tomb is the believed burial place of the son of Jacob who was sold by his brothers into slavery and later became viceroy of Egypt.

Palestinian security officials in Nablus said Monday they were called to the tomb to find 16 burning tires inside the sacred structure. A Palestinian police official who inspected the site told WND there was some fire damage to the tomb.

He said the Palestinian Authority, fearing embarrassment, immediately formed a joint committee from the PA's Force 17, Preventative Security Services and Palestinian intelligence, to find out who was behind the fire.

The move comes after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced last week he would ask Israel's Defense Ministry to work with the PA to reconstruct and restore the tomb, parts of which were destroyed in 2000 by Palestinians, including known PA security officers.

Under the 1993 Oslo Accords, which granted nearby strategic territory to the Palestinians, Joseph's Tomb was supposed to be accessible to Jews and Christians. But following repeated attacks against Jewish worshipers at the holy site by gunmen associated with then-Palestinian Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat's militias, then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak in October 2000 ordered an Israeli unilateral retreat from the area.

Within less than an hour of the Israeli retreat, Palestinian rioters overtook Joseph's Tomb and reportedly began to ransack the site. Palestinian mobs reportedly tore apart books, destroying prayer stands and grinding out stone carvings in the Tomb's interior. A Muslim flag was hoisted over the tomb.

Israel first gained control of Nablus and the neighboring site of Joseph's Tomb in the 1967 Six-Day War. The Oslo Accords signed by Arafat and Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin called for the area surrounding the tomb site to be placed under Palestinian jurisdiction but allowed for continued Jewish visits to the site and the construction of an Israeli military outpost at the tomb to ensure secure Jewish access.

Following the transfer of control of Nablus and the general area encompassing the tomb to the Palestinians in the early 1990s, there were a series of outbreaks of violence in which Arab rioters and gunmen from Arafat's Fatah militias shot at Jewish worshipers and the tomb's military outpost.

Six Israeli soldiers were killed, and many others, including yeshiva students, were wounded in September 1996 when Palestinian rioters and Fatah gunmen attempted to over take the tomb. Eventually, Israeli soldiers regained control of the site.

The Palestinians continued to attack Joseph's Tomb with regular shootings and the lobbing of firebombs and Molotov cocktails. Security for Jews at the site increasingly became more difficult to maintain. Rumors circulated in 2000 that Barak would evacuate the Israeli military outpost and give the tomb to Arafat as a "peacemaking gesture."

In early 2000, the Israeli army began denying Jewish visits to the tomb on certain days due to prospects of Arab violence. Following U.S.-mediated peace talks at Camp David in September 2000, Arafat returned to the West Bank and initiated his intifada. During one bloody week in October 2000, Fatah gunmen attacked the tomb repeatedly, killing two and injuring dozens, prompting Barak to order a complete evacuation of Judaism's third holiest site Oct. 6.

Just as the Archbishop of Canterbury was facing calls to step down for advocating Islamic law be added to the British legal system, reports surfaced that sharia courts already were tackling crime in London, The Daily Mail reported.

The Daily Mail reported that teen members of the Somali community in Woolwich were arrested on charges of stabbing another youth, but the victim’s family told police the case would be settled out of court and the suspects were released on bail.

At the hearing, the assailants were ordered to pay the victim.

"All their uncles and their fathers were there," said Aydarus Yusuf, who helped set up the hearing. "So they all put something towards that and apologized for the wrongdoing."

In Leyton, another Islamic council also said it had been handling cases -- more than 7,000 divorces -- while sharia courts in the capital were said to have settled hundreds of disputes regarding money.

Meanwhile Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams faced widespread condemnation after calling for an “accommodation” with parts of the Islamic legal code and calls to quit. Culture Secretary Andy Burnham described his action as a "recipe for chaos."

As Mitt Romney exits the campaign and though I know that with some reasonable certainty that John McCain will be the Republican nominee, I will just say this. I will support the nominee of the GOP regardless of my personal feelings, for even John McCain or Mike Huckabee will be preferable to either of the Democratic candidates.

For those who out of protest for "Their Guy" not being the nominee will write them in or wanting to teach the party a lesson for being too centrist or big-tent, I say to you, Can we afford even four years of Clinton or Obama? Can we afford to loose anymore seats in the Congress if we no-show in November? Can we watch as more liberal activist justices are placed on the Supreme Court? No, we can not even dare to tempt that, for the Supreme Court is the true battleground of our values and we must maintain whatever edge that we can in that branch of government.

I believe that the message has been delivered to the centrists elements of the GOP and that they will take a more right-looking approach to government or they will dissolve their base and grassroots activism and will be as impotent as the Democratic party was in the late 19th century.

In what seems to be one of the most over-hyped and protracted campaign seasons, the field of anemic Republican candidates is whittling itself down to two, Romney and McCain.

Now before people erupt into "what about Giuliani, Huckabee or Paul?" let me explain this way;

Giuliani - Social liberal, spent allot of money and has only 2 delegates, social liberal, needs a miracle, social liberal.

Huckabee - Big government, small purse, big government, ordained minister, big government.

Paul - Wannabe Ross Perot, GOP's Kucinich, wing-nut and/or moon-bat.

Now, what about McCain? Well, I respect Sen. McCain's service to the Nation in both the Navy and Congress, but I do not believe he is the right man for the most important job in the world and does not see the issues in ways that I feel comfortable; Immigration, 2nd Amendment, Marriage, Stem Cell Research and Taxes.

Sen. McCain, has changed his Church and his wives, his temper and age are also checks in my minus column along with his voting record in Congress. Add to this the fact that he has been in Washington D.C. for 25 years and it makes him one of the insiders.

That leaves me with the reasons I support Romney, although he has been on what I consider the wrong side of many issues earlier in his political career, he has remained true to the non-political things that I hold in high regard, his faith and his wife and family and may have come to a more conservative understanding of things honestly.

Mitt Romney is one of the few candidates who uses the term Jihad instead of terror, he is taking on the China issue and out of the front running GOPer's he has the most sensible approach to immigration (though still too soft for my liking), he has more leadership experience (business, Olympics and politics) than the rest of the candidates, combined. He can use allot of improvement, but at this point in the race, Mitt is the Man.

Expectant mother Lorraine Allard learned the devastating news that she was in the advanced stages of liver cancer when she was four months pregnant, according to the Daily Mail.

Allard, of St. Olaves in the U.K., had a choice: Delay treatment to save her baby, or terminate the pregnancy to save herself.

She chose the former, waiting until the fetus was viable before scheduling a Caesarean section.

"If I am going to die, my baby is going to live," Allard told her husband, Martyn, according to the Mail.

The baby came a week early and Allard, 33, gave birth on Nov. 18 to a healthy but premature boy she named Liam.

Exactly two months later, Allard died. She'd begun chemotherapy just after her son's birth. But in the end, it was too late.

Doctors believe Allard had bowel cancer that had gone undetected for years, eventually spreading to her liver. She realized something was wrong after she began suffering from stomach cramps, and tests revealed that her liver was covered with malignant tumors, the Mail reported.

"The doctors said they couldn't do anything because she was pregnant," Martyn Allard, 34, told the Mail. "She told them straight away they were not going to get rid of it. She'd have lost the will to fight."

The courageous and selfless mother was able to get out of bed and hold her tiny son several times beside his incubator before her death. Liam is the Allards' fourth child and first boy; his sisters are Leah, 10; Amy, 8; and Courtney, 20 months.

"Lorraine was positive all the way through," Martyn Allard told the paper. "She had strength for both of us. I can't begin to describe how brave she was. Towards the end we knew things weren't going well, but she was overjoyed that she had given life to Liam."

Anti-War Code Pink Rallies with Pro-Abortion Protesters

(CNSNews.com) - In a tense meeting at the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday night, pro-life and pro-abortion groups braved freezing winds and sleet to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that said abortion is a privacy right protected by the Constitution.

Several women from the feminist anti-war group Code Pink were among the group of 50 pro-abortion protesters, the latter of whom comprised members of the National Organization for Women, its Action division, and the Feminist Majority.

With regard to the war and this issue, it's very much the same thing," Liz Hourican, a Code Pink activist told Cybercast News Service. "This is about basic human rights - standing here and being able to take care of women. Take care of women first. This is my body. I should have the decision over my body."

In addition to the Roe v. Wade anniversary, Tuesday was the annual March for Life, in which tens of thousands of pro-life activists marched along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C., and up Capitol Hill to the Supreme Court building.

Hourican further said that the war in Iraq needed to end before the issue of abortion should be tackled. "So if we are really thinking about 'thou shall not kill,' let's close down the war machine first," she said.

When asked if she would join the pro-life cause once the Iraq war was over, Hourican, however, said no. She told Cybercast News Service she would be willing to educate people and work with family planning groups that want to help women.

Code Pink was formed in 2001, during the days leading up to the war in Iraq. A statement on the group's Web site says its goals include ending the war in Iraq, stopping new wars, and promoting "life-affirming activities." The Code Pink women outside the Supreme Court were dressed in bright pink clothing and carried large signs bearing pro-abortion messages.

The activists from Action, the National Organization for Women, and the Feminist Majority, along with the few Code Pink women, gathered at 5 pm outside the Supreme Court to voice their support for Roe v. Wade, frequently chanting pro-abortion comments. Hear Audio

A few yards away, the Silent No More Awareness Campaign - a pro-life group comprised of women who have had abortions but now regret having done so - watched the pro-abortion demonstrators. The group's co-founder, Janet Morana, told Cybercast News Service that the difference in numbers between her group and the pro-abortion activists was significant.

"They are supposed to be so happy," said Morana. "Their signs say 'the 35th year anniversary of Roe,' and they are happy and celebrating. Well, if they are so happy, where are they?" in reference to the relatively few protesters.

But Melody Drnach, vice president of the Action arm of the National Organization of Women, said her organization works at the grassroots level.

"We only expected a couple dozen," she said. "If we want to organize a march, we bring out a million people. This is not traditionally a day we bring out the masses. Our members are in their local communities stressing the importance of protecting women's rights at a local level."

Hourican speculated that the difference in numbers was because religious universities had had bussed students in from around the country. "I saw thousands of busses today," she said. "My young women are all working. They are going to school. I would say when your school is bussing you in that it is easier than my friends who have to pay for their college."

Organizers outside the Supreme Court said that, by and large, courtesy was exercised by activists from both the opposing camps. However, protesters did shout at each other and occasionally crossed lines.

A human-ring formed by pro-abortion activists was encircled by pro-life activists, and several people even penetrated the circle with large signs bearing pro-life messages.

Drnach called that "bad manners," adding that one of the pro-life men had tried to knock a sign out of one of her protesters' hands. Morana complained that the pro-abortion group was trying to shout over the people in her rally. "I just wish they would listen," Morana said.

Over at Cranmer, his grace has an interesting post on an incident involving a Muslim bookstore clerk in the UK who refused to check-out a patron who was buying a book of Bible stories. The clerk referred to the book as "unclean" and fetched an "Infidel" employee to finish the transaction.

In the US we are somewhat familiar with this type of treatment as some Muslim store clerks have refused to ring-up pork or alcohol at various major retail chains.

-- Supporting strands of this web of deceit include claims that Islamic aggression is a recent reaction to the sins of the West (colonialism ), or is caused by poverty (buy them off with more jizya), or is carried out by a tiny minority who misunderstand the peaceful commandments of the Koran, or, in a whopper that would be worthy of Goebbels himself - that Islamic terrorism is actually anti-Islamic, as preached by the hypocrite Jacqui Smith.

-- Another strand of deceit is the never-ending search for the Holy Grail - the Mythical Moderate Islam which is claimed to be the real authentic version of the Cult of Mohammed. Of course any 'moderate' version of Islam would have to repudiate the violent verses in the Koran, and so commit blasphemy by rejecting the Word of God.

-- But, as public awareness of Islam grows, these repeated denials and myths parrotted by politicians begin to look increasingly absurd.

-- Many of us now understand the implacably aggresive nature of Islam and its polarised worldview - the tribal antagonism between Ummah and Kuffar, the territorial antagonism between Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb, the overwhelming need to kill or humiliate non-Muslims, the death penalty for those who attempt to leave Islam and the obligation to totally exterminate the Jewish people.

-- But what else can the politicians say other than repeat the RoP mantra? The alternative would be to admit that on their watch they have allowed, and are continuing to allow, the invasion of millions of Dark-Age savages committed to a vicious totalitarian ideology which demands our death or subjugation.

-- So as regards telling the truth about Islam, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't! They have a choice of either staying in denial, and thus appearing to an increasingly Islamic-aware electorate to be gullible idiots and bare-faced liars, or else they must admit that they have been so incompetant as to allow a social disaster to take place that can have no outcome other than civil war.

-- Yes, we've got the traitors skewered! Damned if they do, and damned if they don't! We can discredit the dhimmi politicans by pointing out, whenever they spout their RoP b*llsh*t, how the commands to murder, mutlilate and rape non-Muslims are an essential part of the cult, because the superstitious savages believe the Koran to be the word of God himself, and the rapist, murderer, bandit and pedophile Mohammed to be the 'Perfect Man', whose example is to be followed in all things, including gang-rape.

This is not that new of a story from a correctional stand point as there is active recruiting in a correctional environment. But I see this story and similar phenomenon happening outside of jails and prisons.

What worries me is not the recruiting of new Muslims in stir, but the active enlistment or conversion of people on the outside to Islam.

Islam has become the new anti-western cause and new way for one to hate their own history and civilization. Like those affluent and semi-affluent youngsters of a bygone era, who embraced Marxism and Socialism, some of todays idle youth seem to be making the move to the RoL&P¿ (Religion of Love and Peace¿).

Disenfranchised youth are a fertile pool for Islamofacism to draw western recruits from and those recruits would/will be harder to detect than those of middle-eastern heritage. The day may soon come when a kid will shoot-up his class mates, not to right some self-perceived wrong done to him on an individual basis, but to kill them because they are infidels.

We have become a society were kids are left to their own devices and we celebrate when they make alternative lifestyle choices, but this is more of the celebration of the parents failure to take an active role in their child's life. One day your daughter may have a mohawk, but what will you think when she wears the hijab and at sixteen is marrying Omar the 36 year old gas station attendant from Algeria or your son is ditching his chance of going to college, so that he can study at a Madrasah in Lahore and both have forsaken their spiritual future by turning away from Christ.

Included in this post is a video of a group of western heritage Australian youths converting to Islam. This video illustrates several key things:
1) The disrepect of the speaker for the Christian Sacrement of Baptism.
2) That the converts take an oath in a tongue that they do not speak or understand.
3) The speaker fails to inform the "converts" that after making this declaration, if they renounce Islam, that they would be apostate and subject to a death sentence under Sharia law.

Arizona Serial Rape Suspect (Illegal Alien) Arrested

CHANDLER, Ariz. — A suspect in the sexual assaults of several young girls in Chandler has been arrested and police said Saturday that DNA positively links the man to the case.

Santana Batiz Aceves, 39, was booked into a Maricopa County jail in Phoenix on 25 counts of kidnapping, sexual assault and trespassing in connection with the assaults that began in June 2006, police announced at a news conference. They said the most recent attack linked to the case occurred June 8 on a 14-year-old girl.

All of the victims have been girls between the ages of 12 and 15, according to authorities.

Chandler Police Chief Sherry Kiyler said Aceves is an illegal immigrant who was deported twice for drug charges in California in 1999 and 2003.

Bishop John-David Schofield Suspended From TEC

The Episcopal Church banned a Bishop John-David Schofield from practicing his religious duties until March after he led his congregants to secede from the national church.

Bishop Schofield drew criticism from The Episcopal Church when he urged his conservative diocese to sever its ties to the church last month in a fight over the Bible and homosexuality.

Schofield cannot give sermons, do confirmations or perform any religious rites until TEC leaders meet to determine a final judgment by March 13.

Girl Sprayed by Acid Outside California Church

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Authorities say an acid-filled bottle that sprayed a 10-year-old girl yesterday was the fourth of its kind found in San Mateo County in a month.

The two-liter soda bottle filled with hydrochloric acid was wrapped with duct tape and left outside a Redwood City church.

The bottle exploded when the 10-year-old girl's brother kicked it. The acid doused the girl's legs and melted holes in her nylons.

Redwood City Fire Department officials said the girl was not injured.

Battalion Chief Steve Cavallero said three similar bottles have been found recently in Woodside. He said the incidents may be connected.
